Below is a video with step-by-step instructions, showing how to set up a Hyper-V Backup of a VM running on Windows 11. The steps and user interface are identical for Windows Server 2025 backup. The virtual machine backup is set up as a Hyper-V Server Backup task, then the VM is selected and a target folder is specified. The backup task is saved and we go through a few basic configuration steps. Note that the user guide also contains illustrated step-by-step instructions for Hyper-V backups and all other features of BackupChain.
