How to Clone a System Hard Disk, SSD, or RAID to Another Disk
In the video below, we set up a disk cloning task, step-by-step. Disk cloning produces a ready-to-use, standalone clone that you can use at any time to boot from; however, Windows doesn’t permit 1:1 clones to be installed side-by-side with the original. In order to allow side-by-side mounting of disk clones and original disks, BackupChain alters the clone so that it can still boot Windows on its own but without interfering with your original disk. Any drive can be cloned to another drive, including RAID, Storage Spaces, virtual disks, physical drives, SSD, etc.
